Did you know that honey bees are responsible for pollinating approximately 80% of all fruit, vegetable, and seed crops in the US? Did you know that honey never spoils?
Presenting an afternoon with Bees And Tea! Come enjoy a relaxing time at the Southwest Conservation Club surrounded by nature, flowers, and natural beauties. Let us take you into the world of the honey bee. We will explore the intricacies of the hive and how honey bees communicate as well as how the honey bee affects our ecosystem and what we can do to help the plight of the bees.
The afternoon wouldn’t be complete without some tea and cookies. Don’t forget to add the honey! Enjoy a nice afternoon snack and if you’ve never sampled genuinely, raw honey, we hope you can taste the difference!
Ticket for the event includes tea and honey with a dessert, a chance to see a beehive up close with our sealed observation hive, and a fun, interactive, and hands-on learning experience.
Maximum of 30 participants- Minimum of 15
