The Southwest Honey Company is holding a pollinator educational program called ‘explore the Honey Bee’ and some lucky kids got to get a sneak preview and learn more about these bees.
“How they hatch and how they make the honey,” said Wesley Javins and Issac Warnick.
Wesley Javins and Issac Warnick are fourth and third graders who love to learn. In fact, Issac got to try honey from the bees today and was pleasantly surprised.
“The honey in there tastes exactly like the honey from my house,” announced Issac.
Though it was a Sunday, these two as well as the other kids were extremely excited to learn about what exactly honeybees and the good these bees provide to the community.
“They make us food and help the plants grow really. They make our food healthier and better by pollinating the plants they grow on,” said Wesley.
